Transporting your bike to the start and from the finish of a tour
One of the things that really makes us stand out among cycling holiday companies is that we offer free bike transfers to and from the trip! It’s one of the reasons people report choosing us, time and again, since it saves so much hassle (and cost) packing your bike up for the plane or other forms of transport. We load the vans into our bikes whole, and they come out without needing any reassembly at the far end.
Obviously we can’t collect from all corners of the UK (Europe, Asia…). But if you deliver or arrange for your bike to be delivered to and collected from our Sheffield office, or if we are able to relatively conveniently collect/drop it off en route to the start and back from the finish, then we will! The titanium beauty above is just one of several bikes we recently transported to and from Portugal for free via a pick-up point just off the M25. Any other arrangements which are more out of the way will be for an agreed fee.
Please note that, while we will take all reasonable care while handling your bikes, using padded covers and making sure they are securely stored, we are not liable for any loss or damage during transportation or storage. We recommend you have appropriate insurance. What we can guarantee is that your pride and joy will be handled with more care and love than baggage handlers!
Taking your bikes to the continent
As we are no longer part of the EU customs union, any bike we transport to Europe now unfortunately requires an ATA Carnet which incurs a fee of £60 per bike. This cost will be added to your invoice.
