Cycling holidays in the UK, Europe and Asia: designed by cyclists for cyclists
Led by the friendliest guides, and most helpful back-up team, of any cycle tour company we know!
Our dream is of a Pedal Nation: united by bike riding, traversing boundaries.
Love cycling but don’t have time to plan a holiday?
Prefer someone else to handle the logistics? Or want to ride with like-minded people on a great adventure?
Pedal Nation runs fully supported cycling holidays across the UK, Europe and Asia, with rides graded to suit different abilities and types of bike.
For us, “it’s all about the journey” is more than a strapline. Our trips combine the best parts of traditional cycle touring — exploration, great routes and a real sense of achievement — without the hassle. We take care of the logistics, so there’s no luggage to carry and nothing to organise.
Ride at your own pace, with regular chances to regroup and socialise. One guide cycles with the group while another drives the support van, carrying luggage, food and providing back-up whenever it’s needed.
At Pedal Nation, we believe the world is best experienced by bike. You don’t need to be the fastest rider on the shiniest bike — what matters is that you head home smiling, with great stories, new friends, and the knowledge that we can even transport your bike to and from the trip.
Why choose Pedal Nation?
There are lots of companies these days offering supported cycle tours, so why choose us? The loyal band of clients who return year-after-year are testament to our holidays. Time and again people comment that the energy and atmosphere on our tours is special, and that they like our ethos. We are small enough to offer a genuinely personal touch. And with 13 YEARS’ EXPERIENCE OF PROVIDING CYCLING HOLIDAYS AND OVER 40 YEARS PROVIDING TREKKING HOLIDAYS THROUGH OUR SISTER COMPANY HIGH PLACES we are longstanding enough to guarantee a professional service you can count on.
Bike transfers & bike hire
We can deliver your bike safely to and from our UK and European trips, saving all the hassle and cost of flying with your bike. Alternatively we can arrange bike hire. E-bike transport and hire also available.
Experienced Friendly Guides
Our guides are experienced cycle tourists who will encourage you all the way, and are well accustomed to dealing with unforeseen problems. With small groups, you can be assured of personal support.
Genuinely Small Groups
We believe in low impact travel, so keep our groups small (max 12, compared to some operators whose tours involve 20-30!) This means you can really get to know the other cyclists on tour!
Financial Protection
Not all cycle holiday companies are ABTA members and ABTOT registered, but we like to keep your money safe. We are fully bonded, making booking with us risk-free.
To eat & sleep well!
Because surely these are two of the best reasons to choose a cycling holiday! Expect friendly competition between guides over making the best picnics and personally selected evening restaurants and hotels.
Our ethos
Clients often comment on our ethos in reviews: informal, friendly & good fun. No macho culture, just supportive of all kinds of cycling goals and levels, and with a strong belief in small-scale, low-impact tourism.
Extraordinary service
From first getting in touch with us, to booking and organising logistics, to great days out on the road - we can assure you of a first-class level of service from our small team. And not a bot in sight!
Interesting routes
We like to provide something a bit different, and draw on our guides' expertise of to create innovative tours which provide a real sense of 'journey' & travel. A challenge. A sense of achievement upon arrival. And much to see en route.

Fantastic company, cannot praise them enough. They were happy to accommodate a request for only part of LEJOG starting where a friend had to abandon his LEJOG due to a fall. On the ride luggage was always in the room waiting for us. The leaders listened to requests for alternatives in the snack stops and always strived to accommodate them. Guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. Pedal Nation is a great company making the experience rewarding, excilierating , relaxed and very enjoyable.Posted on MARK LUSCOMBETrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Lands End to John O’Groats with Pedal Nation was just fantastic. Small group, expertly run by Lindsay with able assistance from Alice and Anne. If ever there were a problem it was calmly sorted such that we could get on with what we came for - cycling the entire length of the country. All the group finished despite some wicked weather. Would book again with Pedal Nation for sure. In a word Great. Thanks 🙏Posted on Paul DaviesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Another good trip, this time to Berlin. It is such a pleasure to have experienced again the wonderful cycling infrastructure that is on offer both in the Netherlands and Germany. Interesting route, passing through delightful countryside, picturesque old towns and villages, as well as historic sites. As ever, overall support from the PN team was excellent throughout.Posted on Steve MarshallTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The Road to Vienna was an excellent ride alongside some of the great rivers of Europe. The scenery varied from the industrial landscape of Dutch sea ports to idyllic castles and vineyards as we rode east. Vienna is, of course, a fabulous reward at the end of the tour. Our hosts, Kate and Richard, were fantastic throughout providing general support and advice, as well as superb lunches and coffee stops, to a group of diverse capabilities and styles. A great trip!Posted on Roger GulliverTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our third trip with Pedal Nation-this time to the French Alps. All of the trips have been excellent with great organisation from start to finish. I would thoroughly recommend Pedal Nation, and i'm really looking forward to Spain E2E in September!Posted on Jamie WhithamTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Did the LEJOG trip was really well organised in a small enough group to get to know everyone. Good mix of hotels some chain some independent. Bags already in hotel room at the end of a day's cycling is a really nice touch. Good value even with single supplement. Update also did Road to Copenhagen and was an equally well organised and great trip.Posted on Dave LawlessTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was part of the group who rode to Copenhagen. The organisation, logistics, the guides Leon and Lucy were absolutely 100%. I couldn't have asked for a better cycling experience. I would totally recommend Pedal Nation and would absolutely use them for my next trip .Posted on Neil T. WrightTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The Road to Copenhagen trip was a wonderful bike tour. The small group helped build camaraderie, which the tour leaders aided in fostering. The route was well planned and quite scenic. The hotels, though mostly modest, were clean, comfortable and each had their charm. The tour was an excellent value. I would strongly consider Pedal Nation for our next tour.Posted on Iain DuckworthTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Portugal End to End - fantastic trip from start to the end, superbly organised by Pedal NationPosted on Angela van den BosTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Yet again, another wonderful, brilliant, pedaling holiday. Support staff are brilliant. Too many reasons to list why I'm a return customer.
