Love riding but no time to plan a cycling holiday, or daunted by the logistics? Looking to cycle with like-minded folk? Or just happy to let experts organise the best possible tour? Pedal Nation runs fully supported cycling holidays across the UK, Europe and Asia, with graded rides organised to suit different abilities of rider and types of bike. For us, It’s all about the journey is more than a strapline. What distinguishes our holidays is that they have all the best elements of traditional cycle tours – a sense of exploration, an emphasis on how we get there as much as the destination, and enough challenge to create a sense of achievement without feeling like training camps – but with the logistics sorted for you and no need to carry your luggage! The days are organised so that riders can travel at their own pace, with regular social opportunities to regroup; one guide cycles with you and another drives the support van with your luggage, food and providing on-hand back-up. At Pedal Nation we believe that the beautiful world we live in is best appreciated by bike, and our trips enable this. You don’t need to be the fastest rider on the shiniest bike, even though you might be. What matters to us is that you go home smiling, with lots of stories and new friends, safe in the knowledge that we can deliver your bike to and from the trip.

we can deliver your bike (including e-bikes) safely to and from our UK and European trips for free, with just a small charge to cover the EU import tax, saving all the hassle and cost of flying with your bike.

Our guides are experienced cycle tourists who will encourage you all the way, and are well accustomed to dealing with unforeseen problems. With small groups, you can be assured of personal support.

Genuinely Small Groups

We believe in low impact travel, so keep our groups small (max 12, compared to some operators whose tours involve 20-30!) This means you can really get to know the other cyclists on tour!

Financial Protection

Not all cycle holiday companies are ABTA members and ABTOT registered, but we like to keep your money safe. We are fully bonded, making booking with us risk-free.

Over 30 years of experience

Pedal Nation is an independent cycle tour operator based close to the Peak District in Sheffield and offers trips in the UK, mainland Europe and beyond.  It is the cycling arm of High Places, a fully bonded travel company who have been organising activity holidays since 1988.
